Steinbach Pistons goalie Cole Plowman announced that he has committed to Alaska Fairbanks NCAA Division 1 program for next season.

"It's been my goal for a of couple years now," the 20-year-old says. "Getting to continue my hockey and educational career, it's a dream come true."

 

A veteran of 95 starts in the MJHL, Plowman is fresh off of a career season in the league, putting together a record of 30-6-0-0 to go along with a 1.81 goals against average and 0.934 save percentage.

This season, Plowman was a finalist for the MJHL’s Goaltender of the Year Award and helped the Pistons reach their 3rd straight appearance in the MJHL Final.
