Jonathan Kroeker from Steinbach is a pilot for Calm Air and he was pulling into Winnipeg about 10 minutes ahead of the major storm that hit on Wednesday evening. As a result of the lightning being so close, he, his crew and everyone on board his plane, had to stay in the plane till the storm passed. The winds were strong enough to lift and move the front end of the plane. Wow!! Thanks for sharing your story and the pictures with us. Not many of us fly THROUGH storms on a regular basis... we're glad people like you know how to.
