We're less than two weeks away from Harvesting Hope, a fundraiser for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. Golden West Radio is proud to support the event which will take place Sunday, July 31st at the Manitoba Agricultural Museum near Austin.

Happening during the Manitoba Threshermen's Reunion and Stampede, the world record attempt aims to have at least 125 vintage threshing machines operating at the same time.

Co-Chair Elliot Sims was our guest Wednesday on the Morning Show, and shared the latest details on how the event is coming together.

Morning Show Co-Host Chris Sumner asked him whether organizers were surprised to find there were 125 operating threshing machines in Western Canada and beyond.

What a sight it will be to see more than 125 vintage threshing machines operating simultaneously Sunday, July 31st at 4pm at the Manitoba Agricultural Museum near Austin.
