A very special hello to violinist Rosemary Siemens who had a very special weekend in her hometown. She officially released her new album Plum Coulee My Home, her first bluegrass influenced work.

And the community of Plum Coulee unveiled a sign identifying it as the home of Rosemary Siemens! To round out the day, Rosemary performed music from her new album today on the main stage at Plum Fest.

Morning Show Co-Host Chris Sumner MC'd the event, and was happy to be part of the day. I spoke with Rosemary about what it mean to be recognized by her hometown this way.

And speaking on the music, Chris asked Rosemary about her first bluegrass influenced album Plum Coulee My Home.

And by the way, Rosemary and her new album were recently featured on Made in Manitoba, and you can listen to that episode by looking to the right-hand corner of the page.
