RCMP report the two people injured in a collision near Steinbach Monday are both in stable condition. The crash occurred around 11 a.m. at the intersection of Highway #12 and Provincial Road 303. Police say an eastbound five-tonne delivery truck failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with a southbound pickup truck.

The driver of the pick-up is a 38-year-old man from Steinbach and the driver of the five-tonne truck is a 61-year-old man from Grunthal. Both were airlifted by STARS to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.
