Solid Waste Department Head Eldon Wallman joined us this morning to talk about composting and the process that the City of Steinbach Landfill goes through to make sure they are producing the best soil from the compost they receive all spring, summer and fall. Eldon will share even more details on the process tonight at 7:00 at the Steinbach and Area Garden Club meeting at the Mennonite Heritage Village. Everyone is welcome! 

Also, we will hear the presentation "Raised Beds: Construction, irrigation, soil and what to grow". A lesson from Eldon and Phillis Kroeker, experienced SAGC gardeners.
