The Roseau River First Nation is held a rally Thursday afternoon to draw attention to land claim issues on the reserve and across Canada.  The planned railway blockade was cancelled after Manitoba Chiefs made a deal with the railways to lobby government to settle outstanding land claims.  However, Roseau River Band Members have gathered to tell their stories of outstanding claims and frustrations with time frames.  Band member Leonard Nelson is 62 years old and says he's willing to go to jail if it will help his people.  There were about 50 band members on hand to rally for land claim issues and walk to the C.N. tracks in Letellier to make their point.
