Traffic was at a stand still Thursday afternoon on Main Street in Lorette.  Glen Schneider of Manitoba Hydro tells us shortly after 1 p.m. a truck hauling gravel or dirt contacted the MTS line which was on the same pole used by Hydro.  It was enough force to break part of the pole leaving about 300 customers without service.  Our newsroom received word from a motorist in Lorette that Main Street was blocked for hours while repair work was done.
