Harrison Pankratz completed nine-of-14 pass attempts for 267 yards and three touchdowns as the Steinbach Regional Secondary School defeated the West Kildonan Wolverines 48-0 Thursday at A.D. Penner Park.

Eric Adams caught three passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns while Hunter Neilson hauled in two passes for 97 yards and a major.

Austin Buhler ran for 55 yards and a touchdown and also caught three passes for 39 yards.

The defense chipped in with a pair of touchdowns thanks to linebacker Riley Doerksen's two fumble recoveries.

Adams booted a 28-yard field goal and Nico Chiasson was successful from 25 yards out.

The Sabres, who have a 2-0 record in the Winnipeg High School Football League's Kas Vidruk Division, will play their first road game of the season next Thursday when they meet the Vincent Massey Vikings in Brandon.

The Vikings are also 2-0.

Vincent Massey beat the Crocus Plains Plainsmen 36-28 in week one and then downed the Miles Macdonell Buckeyes 41-9 on Thursday in Winnipeg.
