Santa's Village at the Clearspring Centre opened it's doors on Saturday.

The manager of the Clearspring Centre Bob Frey says Santa Claus and his reindeer arrived from the North Pole Saturday Morning. He says Santa Claus will be at the mall every day until Christmas.

“Santa comes to Clearspring every year. It is a big job to visit all of the kids and get their wish lists, and Christmas would not be the same without the mall Santa. We're happy to be able to host him for Christmas.”

Frey says this year is especially exciting because Santa's Village has been getting some renovations.

“Santa's village has had a makeover, we have been working on it for the last couple of months now. That is different, and each child receives a handout from Santa, some crayons and a coloring book, a candy cane, and also there are pictures available with Santa.”

Frey says they have a professional photographer at the mall and everyone who visits Santa can purchase a photo.
