Update Monday 9:30 a.m.:

Local RCMP have located a blue car that was being sought after more than a dozen homes and vehicles in Steinbach and Mitchell were defaced with graffiti over the weekend. Police say the blue 4-door 2008 Honda Civic was found in a back lane between Southwood Drive and Willow Crescent in Steinbach. The car had been reported stolen last Tuesday from a residence along Loewen Boulevard, just east of Steinbach. Police believe the stolen car may have been used by the culprits involved in the graffiti. Fluorescent spray paint was used to write and draw profanities on houses, garage doors and vehicles. Police ask any residents and businesses with video surveillance to check their footage from Saturday night at 11:00 to Sunday morning at 8:00. Anyone who has any information on this matter is asked to call Steinbach RCMP.
