We finally have enough snow to cancel school. I know that some people aren't excited about it. But the kids have really been waiting for a snow day. Every time it snows, even a little, kids are asking me if they think school will be cancelled.

Brandi Dueck was our lucky winner of Classroom Of The Month for February. Before we had our lunch party (full of food, games, prizes and fun) Corny Rempel brought the MIX Morning Show to the halls of the Steinbach Junior High. The kids even broke out in song. Check it out!

Electric cars are more common in some markets. But you don't see a lot of completely electric cars in Manitoba because people aren't sure if they would hold up to our harsh winters. That's where Ken Francis comes in. He works for CAA and is currently testing two electric cars. He lives in New Bothwell and commutes to Winnipeg every day with these cars.

Corny Rempel and Kevin Geisheimer along with Fred Hiebert from United Driver Training took these cars for a little spin.

Valentines Day is often viewed a day when the Men make it special for the Ladies. But what about the guys? Aren't they sweethearts as well? Corny went out on the streets to get peoples opinions on Valentines Day. Who should be treating who?

Corny Rempel was "Out and About" with the MIX Morning Show at Woodlawn School. They had some fun games planned. Each teacher on the stage was fighting to get points for their "house group". Each teacher is wearing the color of the group they were representing. They even sang a really cool song about Friends.  Thanks Woodlawn! That was fun!

Valentines Day is coming up next week. In the elementary schools, kids are expected to give cards to all the kids in your class (whether you're friends or not)
