AM 1250 Radio is located in the city of Steinbach, Manitoba, just 50 kilometers southeast of Winnipeg. Reaching the rural communities of Southeastern Manitoba, AM 1250 Radio targets the agricultural community and the many businesses it supports.

The weekend is here. Lots of us look forward to it... and yet, the kids are home and you're trying to think of something to do. The catch is -- you're trying NOT to spend all of your money! We've come up with some ideas for family stuff this weekend. Tonight it's a movie, in Steinbach, at the Keystone Cinema. We held our boys off from seeing it in Winnipeg so tonight we're going to save gas money, seat money and snack money by see it right here at home -- and "it" is "Alvin and the Chipmunks - The Squeakuel". Should be fun. Now, tomorrow, Saturday, for the price of some hot dogs, buns and drink... we're going to head to Sandilands for a bit of a walk or hike and a weiner roast. I'm really excited about that -- especially with the mild weather and new snow that we're expecting. Then, at 3:00 on Saturday afternoon -- get your pajamas on and join us at "Munscha Meeya". The Steinbach Arts Council has brought Prairie Theatre Exchange to town again to act out the amazing stories of Robert Munsch. We've been going for years, and always love it!! See you there... and yes, I am wearing my pajamas... it's a pajama party after all. Then, Sunday - the Vikings will entertain us right in our own livingroom. Oh, and did I mention that Saturday night -- we're just going to hang out and do nothing? It seems, in this day and age, you have to schedule "nothing" on your calendar... just to make sure you do that once in awhile. Hope you have a great weekend with your friends and family!!
