They could NOT have been cuter!! Did you know that every Tuesday and Thursday -- morning and afternoon, preschool aged kids and their parents or grandparents have the opportunity to hear some stories, do a craft and have a snack at "Story Hour" at the Jake Epp Library? Well, now you do. Yesterday, I got to join them as they had an Olympic theme to their day. It was so much fun sharing my story about the Olympics... except instead of spending half an hour telling all the details... we talked about what an "athlete" is... what "training hard" means... and how great all the free McDonald's  food is in the Olympic village. They seemed to relate to that :). Oh, one of the highlight comments? Well, I told them how all the athletes at the Olympics were fulfilling their dreams... and I asked them if any of them had dreams. Of course, one little boy, right in the front raised his hand and said, "I had a bad dream LAST night!!" I told him, the next time he has a bad dream -- turn the pillow over -- the good dreams are on the other side. I got that little tip from a listener -- so, thanks!! Thank you to Sharon Heppner who leads "Story Hour" for asking me to come -- I absolutely loved my time with you all. Michelle.
