AM 1250 Radio is located in the city of Steinbach, Manitoba, just 50 kilometers southeast of Winnipeg. Reaching the rural communities of Southeastern Manitoba, AM 1250 Radio targets the agricultural community and the many businesses it supports.

There are many reasons we can be glad that we live where we live and that our children attend school in the Hanover School Division. But, last night, we were overjoyed that our boys attend Southwood Elementary school in Steinbach. What an amazing event they put on!! The list of activities included mural painting, hot chocolate, cookies and a sing-a-long inside and sleigh rides, bannock baking, and fireworks outside!! Unbelievable! The entire staff was there -- working at all the different stations -- and the families were enjoying the great outdoors together. Quality time... special memories... all thanks to our school. Thank you to Lorraine Kehler and her staff for all the extra work you put in. We know you wouldn't "HAVE" to do something like that, outside of school hours, be we REALLY thank you. It was amazing. Oh, and good thing... there's no school in Hanover today -- so those hard working teachers at least get a little break from the kids today. Have a super weekend - you deserve it! Michelle.
