There were no major announcements out of the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Agriculture Ministers meeting in Toronto.  Federal Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz says the ministers will continue collecting feedback from producers regarding improvements to the business risk management programs.  Producers and opposition MP's and MLA's have been calling for improvements to programs like Agristability and Agrirecovery.  Cattle and hog producer groups have expressed strong criticism of Agristability.  Meanwhile, producers in drought and flood situations in Western Canada want to see changes to the Agrirecovery program.  Ritz says the ministers will continue to consult with producers.  The results of those consultations will be reported at their next meeting in Saskatoon in July.
