Kevin Reimer scored twice and Anthony Giesbrecht had three assists as the Carillon Senior Hockey League's Steinbach Huskies beat the North Central Hockey League's Miniota/Elkhorn C-Hawks 5-2 in the first game of their Hockey Manitoba Provincial Senior "A" second round series. Greg Reimer, Stacey Neufeld and Mike Reimer also scored for the Huskies. Game two in the two-game total goal series goes February 14th in Elkhorn. Steinbach will meet the defending CSHL champion St. Malo Warriors in Mitchell on February 13th in game one of their best-of-seven semi-final.
