Snow plows are out in full force in southeastern Manitoba following a significant snowfall on the weekend. Randy Reimer, head of Public Works in Steinbach, says it'll probably take until late Wednesday to get to all streets. He notes they want to have things cleaned up as much as possible before the Safeway Men's Curling Championship begins Wednesday. In the RM of Hanover, Public Works Foreman Russell Rudy expects they'll be done by noon tomorrow. But he has a word of advice if you're travelling on country roads that have not yet been plowed. There's only one lane down the centre and extra caution is needed. We received 10-12 centimetres of snow over the weekend.
