Home ice advantage - not for the Winnipeg Jets.

Tyler Seguin scored twice as the Dallas Stars defeated Winnipeg 5-3 Tuesday night at MTS Centre.

The Jets have dropped four of five on their six-game homestand which comes to an end Friday when they host the Carolina Hurricanes.

John Klingberg had a goal and two assists for the Stars who scored three times in the second period.

Winnipeg head coach Paul Maurice says his players are well aware of their 6-13-1 record against Central Division teams.

"There’s not an easy mark there. No, I don’t think it’s in their head. I don’t think any of the three games that we’ve played with Dallas have been one-sided at all.  This is the first game we’ve got outshot by them. I don’t feel that way, going into the game."

Andrew Ladd, Adam Lowry and Dustin Byfuglien did the goal scoring for the Jets who are in last place in the Central Division with a 22-25-3 record.

Dallas netminder Antti Niemi stopped 21 shots while Winnipeg goaltender Connor Hellebuyck handled 22 shots.
