Bradley Schoonbaert of the Steinbach Pistons was named the Manitoba Junior Hockey League Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week after scoring 5 points in just 3 games.

Schoonbaert has had a major hand in helping the Pistons to an undefeated 10-0 record so far this season. The 19 year old Brandon product has picked up 13 points (7 goals and 6 assists) in those 10 games. Schoonbaert is quick to pass the credit around. "It's been fun and it's a lot to do with my line mates (Mack Graham and Will Koop). They're great."

The Pistons defeated the Dauphin Kings on Friday with the help of Schoonbaert's two goals. The Kings will also be the Pistons next opponent on Friday and Saturday night at the TG Smith Centre. The Kings just so happen to be Schoonbaert's former team and it is something he enjoys when the two teams meet. "It's fun, I got my start there and I know a bunch of guys on that team, so it just makes it more exciting to play."

This is the second time the Pistons have had a player named Player of the Week as goalie Roman Bengert was the first player of the season to pick up the honour.
