Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Main Street and Willow Cresent in Steinbach shortly after 5:30 Thursday evening

Deputy Fire Chief Russ Reimer says there was a collision involving two vehicles.

"I believe one vehicle appears to have been going east bound and another vehicle attempted to cross going south bound."

Reimer says a few people were transported to hospital to be checked. Traffic was down to one lane for about half an hour while crews cleared the scene.
