There was a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 52 and Bushfarm Road shortly after 4 Tuesday afternoon.

Steinbach Assistant Fire Chief Mike Penner says the collision involved a pickup truck and a small car.

"We had a pickup truck traveling eastbound and there was a smaller vehicle that had tried turning left onto Bushfarm and came in the pathway of the pickup truck. That patient in the car is being transported and we have four patients in the truck being transported also."

Penner says patients were transported to hospital as a precaution. He notes the fire department assisted EMS and closed eastbound Highway 52 while crews cleared the scene.
