Steinbach RCMP report Highway #1, from Ste. Anne east, is glare ice. Corporal Mike Martens called us at 7:00 a.m. from the scene of a semi rollover about four miles east of Richer.

"The road conditions here, east of Highway #12 on the #1 are very icy so please proceed with caution. Even though the one lane looks like it's fairly clear, it is very slick"

Martens tells us a bit more about the accident itself.

"It was a semi rollover. The guy is fine and the vehicle is off to the side and we're just waiting for a tow."
