Steinbach RCMP have received several reports of damage and/or the removal of civic signs, highway signs and mailboxes. They say the complaints have come from the RMs of Hanover and Ste. Anne and the Village of Blumenort. Police say these acts of vandalism occurred last weekend, either Saturday night or early Sunday. Anyone with information on this matter is asked to call Steinbach RCMP or Crimestoppers or text “TIPMAN” plus your message to Crimes (274637). RCMP also ask people to check their video surveillance recordings to see if they turn up any information about the culprits.
