Steinbach RCMP nabbed three impaired drivers in a period of seven hours over the weekend.

At 7:00 Friday evening, police received a complaint of an impaired driver near Richer. Officers found the suspect vehicle in the ditch. As a result, a 37 year-old male from Winnipeg has been charged with refusing a breathalyzer, driving without a licence and driving an unregistered vehicle.

At 10:30 p.m. Friday, patrolling officers spotted a vehicle leaving a bar along Highway #52. They stopped the vehicle and determined the driver was intoxicated. A 47 year-old man from La Broquerie was charged with impaired driving.

Then, just after 2:00 Saturday morning, officers saw a vehicle being driven erratically on Main Street in Steinbach. They arrested a 22 year-old male from Ste. Anne and charged him with impaired driving.
