Emergency crews check the condition of the occupants of the vehicles involved in the accident.
There was a two vehicle accident at the corner of Giesbrecht Street and Ellice Avenue just before 2 pm on Sunday.
Traffic was slowed and detoured for about half an hour as emergency crews assessed the situation. Steinbach Deputy Fire Chief Mike Penner says, "one vehicle didn't stop for the stop sign and ran into the side of another vehicle."
Penner says one person was transported to the hospital for observation with non-life threatening injuries.
