The Steinbach Fire Department was called to two vehicle collision at the corner of Main Street and Hespeler Street.

Assistant Deputy Fire Chief Mike Penner says the call came in shortly after 8:30 a.m.

“We had one vehicle traveling northwest on Main street and there was another vehicle turning east on Hespeler and there was a collision. I am not sure at this time who was at fault.”

Penner notes there was one car with a lone occupant and driver and a minivan with a driver and two children. He notes the two children were taken to hospital as a precaution. He adds traffic was diverted while the firefighters and tow truck cleaned up the collision.
