So nice of pilot Paulette Klassen to stop by the AM1250 Morning Show today to tell us about a busy weekend!!

Local and surrounding community pilots will be displaying their aircraft and be on hand to answer any questions about their aircraft this weekend at the Steinbach Airport.

Located just be hind the Mennonite Heritage Museum on Golfair Road, 63 members of the Steinbach Flying Club will open their doors for people across the Southeast to learn about aviation. 

Harv's air of Steinbach will be giving 15-20 minute rides for $30 a person, STARS helicopter will be on display, CASAR (Civil Air Search And Rescue), as well as a famous World War 2 Harvard Aircraft.

The open house starts at 11 am on Saturday with a special surprise from Luke Penner at noon.

On Sunday, COPA for Kids will be providing a free of chard introduction for the general aviation. COPA for Kids has introduced over 23,000 young Canadians to General Aviation.

Registration is at 8:30 am for kids 8-17 as kids will have the opportunity to experience a free flight!

A great opportunity for youth that has an interest in aviation all weekend long.
