Changes have been underway for quite some time at St. Paul's Lutheran Church so it was time to get Don Neufeld, chairperson at the church, to tell us more about it.

AM1250's Michelle Sawatzky was the most curious about what it's going to look like and Don shared this morning that the front of the church will have a completely different look. Unfortunately, building codes are limiting the staind glass look although they did keep some of it and may use some for interior decorating. That remains to be seen.

Through all of the construction, church has been able to  run as usual in the sanctuary but for THIS Sunday... and they're hoping THIS Sunday only, there will be no service in the sanctuary. They need to move the service into temporary areas. There will still be two services and Sunday School will be operating as normal but they can not have service upstairs.

If you drive by the church today -- you'll see that all of the brick has been removed and they will be in the process of moving the entire balcony -- back. Wow!

Their estimated time of completion is the middle of June and for the couple who has their wedding booked for June 21st -- it's looking good!

One thought that Don Neufeld left with us this morning - certainly worth sharing, "The public is always invited and is always welcome to come and visit us. We have numerous activities throughout the year and we always want to say we are a community church, not just a Lutheran church."

Thank you Don!!
