Toys Days 2017 is underway at Canadian Tire Steinbach!

This morning Eric Enns from Enex Siding stopped by and told us about a family tradition. Every year they pull their kids out of school for one day to shop for toys for Community Christmas. They build family memories, while teaching their kids valuable life lessons. His motto is "Generous people create generous people."

David Banman of Loewen Henderson Banman Legault LLP has partnered with Toys Days since it's first year. He recognizes that, for various reasons, the Christmas season can be hard for people. Donating toys is "one really easy way that we can hopefully help make Christmas memories a little brighter," he said. When asked about his family's plans for Christmas, Banman said that they are going to spend Christmas "in the sand, rather than in the snow" after a road trip to visit family members in California.

You can join us in making Christmas bright by donating a new, unwrapped toy today and Thursday at Canadian Tire in Steinbach.

Thanks to our wonderful partners for making Toys Days possible: David Banman, Enex Siding, Gold n Memories, McMunn and Yates Building Supplies, Stone Creek Western Shop, Elite Redi Mix, The Rental House, Hanover Dental Clinic, Oakridge Greenhouse and Garden Centre, Ledingham GM, Timberfalls Store and Carwash, K&S Insulation, Friesen Drillers, GLT Heating and Cooling, Super Splash, Keating Mechanical, Canadiant Tire teinbach, and Little Caesar's.
