Resby Coutts is a well known name in Manitoba Curling circles, and the Vice-Chair of Curling Canada, was part of the Canadian delegation attending the 2017 Ford World Women's Championship in Beijing, China last week. It was an

Flag raising ceremony at Women's Worlds exciting for the Canadian group for a lot of reasons, including the fact Rachel Homan won the Women's gold for Team Canada for the first time since 2008 when Manitoba's Jennifer Jones was champion.

Resby was our guest Thursday morning, and told us the venue they were in may have looked familiar.

Resby and his wife Kathy enjoyed the Championship final in person. Resby shared what the atmosphere was like during the game.

During the event the World Curling Federation also held meetings, and discussed potential format changes for future World Championships... taking a cue from Manitoba curling!
