Mike Janzen - Nominated for a Juno Award in the Jazz Album of the Year: Solo category for his album "Nudging Forever".

Our Canadian musicians will be front and center at the Juno Awards on April 2nd in Ottawa and of course, we are extra-excited about the Manitobans that will be there.

Former Made in Manitoba guest, William Prince is nominated for Indigenous Music Album of the Year and Contemporary Roots Album of the Year, Steve Bell and Jaylene Johnson are both nominated in the Christian Contemporary/Gospel category, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra is nominated in the Classical Album of the Year category, Chantal Kreviazuk in the Adult Contemporary Album of the Year category and then, there's Mike Janzen -- nominated for a Juno in the Jazz Album of the Year: Solo category.

Mike grew up in Steinbach and Winkler and we are so proud to be able to call him "one of our own". Listen in to Mike's conversation with AM1250's Michelle Sawatzky in the AM1250 Audio Vault.

We will most certainly be cheering all of our Manitoba musicians on this April 2nd at the 2017 Juno Awards!
