Caleb Fenton and club President Jesse Franklin are very excited how far the Southeast Thistles Rugby Club has come this year, but they also know there is work to be done.

"It's been so much fun this year." Fenton said Tuesday morning. "Playing with these guys, watching them learn and come together, it's been a blast."

Franklin, who is in his 3rd year as club President wants to see the good times continue. "We are always looking for people to come and play. Come and learn. Knowledge of the sport if very important to us. I think the more people that come on down and watch, they'll want to get involved."

Safety is also very important to Franklin and the Thistles. "We teach how to tackle. How to protect yourself and your opponent."

The Thistles are 3-3 and head out on the road Friday before returning home on the 25th. Check the game out at 7:00pm at AD Penner Park.
