A man who left a mark on the business community of Steinbach has died.
Frank Reimer passed away at the age of 98.  He managed P.B. Reimer and Sons and the Steinbach Feed Service Mill before going on to found Reimer Express Lines with his son in 1952.  Seaton Coleman of Big Freight Systems describes Reimer as a dynamic individual who had a way of making you feel you could take on the world.   Reimer was generally known as "Carload Frank" because he like to purchase merchandise by the carload.  In fact, Coleman remembers Reimer as being the first person to bring in a truckload of watermelons to Steinbach.  Funeral services for Frank Reimer will be held Thursday afternoon in Winnipeg.
