The additions of Superstore and Staples to Steinbach's north end will help make it a retail power centre.  That, according to Bob Frey, manager of Clearspring Centre.  Frey acknowledges the fact Superstore may very well steal employees from the mall.  But he says his tenants are already paying well above minimum wage.  As for the competition, Frey says if Superstore and Staples can attract more people to Steinbach, everybody benefits.  Frey says Steinbach residents only make up about 25% of the mall's market anyway.
