Police say the minivan was southbound along Highway 12. It appears the minivan entered the intersection and collided with the SUV, causing the SUV to roll.

The minivan was being driven by a 42-year-old female, who also had a three-year-old male passenger. Neither was physically injured.

The SUV was being driven by a 23-year-old female, who was the lone occupant.

Steinbach RCMP were dispatched to the scene at 10:41 am. According to police, it appears a minivan and SUV collided.

According to police, a 42-year-old female was driving one of the vehicles and was not physically injured. A 23-year-old female was driving the other vehicle and was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons to get checked out.

Police say one vehicle rolled and was blocking traffic in the area for a short time.

One person was airlifted to hospital following a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning south of Blumenort.

Hanover Fire Chief Paul Wiebe says his crews were called out at 10:40 am to the intersection of Highway 12 and Road 40N.

A spokesperson for STARS says a female patient in her 20s was transported to Health Sciences Centre in stable condition.

The crash closed the southbound lanes.
