That from Steinbach M.L.A. Kelvin Goertzen after hearing about the Manitoba Human Rights Commission criticizing Garden Valley School Division about its mission statement. The division mentions "church" and Christian principles in its mission statement and was told it does not belong there.  Goertzen says class sizes are more important than what a school division has in it's mission statement.  He adds anyone wanting to improve education in Manitoba should put their time and energy into finding ways of reducing class sizes and creating more classroom space.
