The Federal Government has decided what to do with its budget surplus. Provencher MP Vic Toews says $13.2 Billion will go into debt reduction and $3.3 Billion wil be sent directly to the provinces.  That means Manitoba will get $130 Million.  Toews says Manitoba's share will be spent on public transit infrastructure, affordable and Aboriginal housing and post secondary education.  Because of this extra money, the provinces can free up other dollars to be spent on other priority projects.
