Retiring Mayor Les Magnusson created some controversy Thursday by endorsing Dwight Reimer.
Reimer says he appreciates the support and echoes Magnusson's comments that experience will be vital for the next mayor.  Meantime, Chris Goertzen is not too worried about Magnusson's move.  He says it's the voters and not the old boy's club who elect the mayor.  Goertzen adds people recognize he has experience in both politics and business, something they want.  Both candidates tells us their campaigns are going well.  Goertzen is focusing his message on long term planning while Reimer is promoting what he calls innovative stability, which involves new ideas and careful financial planning.
