St. Pierre R.C.M.P. received some help in executing the search warrant.
More than 220 marihuana plants were seized Wednesday following the search of a property near Ile Des Chenes. The plants were at various stages of growth in the indoor operation. St. Pierre R.C.M.P. say the type of plants they found are typically given an estimated value of $1,000 each. So that means the drugs seized could have generated around $220,000. Charges are pending against a 53-year-old man from Winnipeg, who has been arrested in relation to this investigation.
