A recycling business near Kleefeld will benefit from an expansion to its storage facilities. Kenneth Friesen collects recycled material from residents in the RM of Tache and brings it back to his shop east of Kleefeld. His current storage area is too small which forces much of his inventory to sit unprotected from the elements. Mud, snow and rain cause a drop in value when these materials are kept outside. He asked council in the RM of Hanover for permission to add 4800 square feet to his existing storage space. Councillor Neil Warkentin says there was no opposition to the plan and indoor storage would tidy up the appearance of Friesen's yard. The request was granted.
