The R.M. of Morris is hoping to have a change in its zoning bylaw implemented by mid-August.  The municipality is working on reducing its minimum lot requirement from 2 acres to half an acre.  Reeve Herm Martens says the reason is because they've found a way to have septic tanks in small yards and because buyers prefer smaller for maintenance reasons.  Martens adds there will be a meeting at the council chambers on August 9th to discuss the topic.
