The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are still perfect. Toronto kicker Boris Bede missed a convert with 25 seconds left as Winnipeg edged the Argonauts 23-22 at BMO Field. It's the Blue Bombers first win in Toronto since 2018. Trailing by seven points, Argos quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson completed a two-yard touchdown pass to Markeith Ambles but Bede, who was good on all three field goal attempts and an earlier convert, missed the extra point wide left. Winnipeg quarterback Zach Collaros threw a 15-yard first quarter touchdown pass to Drew Wolitarsky and finished the night completing 25-of-31 passes for 215 yards. Defensive back Winston Rose got the Bombers on the board early as he returned Bethel-Thompson's second pass of the game for a pick six. Marc Liegghio added three field goals. The Blue Bombers are 4-0 and will face the 3-0 B.C. Lions in Vancouver on Saturday.
