Ray Burnell says the thunderstorm Sunday night dropped a blanket of hail on his yard. The memory is still vivid.  Ray Burnell was at his home near Richer Sunday evening when it started to hail.  He says it was a scary 5 minutes but no one was hurt and there was no damage to his home.  But when they checked outside it was another story.  The ground was covered with hailstones some bigger than golfballs.  The yard is all marked up and 4 vehicles are written off from the hail.  As a souvenier he filled a couple of bags with hailstones and is keeping them in the freezer.
