When a major decision needs to be made, what values should be respected? That question came up at South Eastman Health's annual Fall Board Retreat.  Chair Aurele Boisvert says rather than come up with a list of priorities for the year, the board chose to discuss this topic at length.  Boisvert says a majority of the board feels the economic impact of a community must be one of the factors when making a decision.  He says the fall retreat was a great way to find out why certain board members share a particular opinion.  Boisvert says being board chair is extremely difficult because it means getting people from all walks of life working in harmony.
