A farmer near Blumenort says this year's crop should be enough to refill his bins. Barley Wednesday, oats Thursday and winter wheat is already in the bin.  That's how harvest is shaping up for Brian Dueck from Seine River Seed Farms, north of Blumenort.  He says 2 row barley yield, weight and vomitoxin levels are all good.  Which, after 2 years of unpredictable weather, is something he would never have guessed this spring.  Last year Dueck had to truck in grain from out west to supply his customers.  But this year's crop should be enough to refill his bins and be ready for sale next spring.
