Immediately after Steinbach's Pioneer Days Parade on Friday, August 3rd, a BBQ Fundraiser was held in the parking lot of Earls Meat Market. The event was organized by Earls in partnership with Creative Print-All, Farm Credit Canada and the Lions Club.

$5 was the cost of a hot dog, chips, and a drink, all going to benefit Southeast Helping Hands. Additionally, there was a raffle draw to give away a $500 prize pack that included products from Creative Print-All and meat from Earls, all inside a mini-fridge.

Wayde Nurbass from Farm Credit Canada estimated that there were well over 300 hot dogs sold.

Bouncers were also set up in the parking lot for kids, and the event wrapped up shortly after 1:00 P.M. with the announcement of the raffle winner.
