Sat Aug 18th 9:00am - 6:00pm
Training Room, 62 Life Sciences Pkwy, Steinbach, MB R5G 2G6, Canada

Through education and training, we seek to prevent undue suffering and loss of life when faced with unforeseen wilderness accidents and to reduce the burden on our Search and Rescue resources.
This training has considerable application to workplace health and safety in terms of providing employees working in remote regions and in hazardous weather with the tools needed to prevent injury and promote safe work conditions through hazard recognition. Without proper training and awareness, these individuals can face hypothermia, heat exhaustion, dehydration, frost bite, predatory wildlife and other threats to life and health. This unique training complements disaster preparedness programs and planning, whether urban or wilderness based, man-made or natural disasters. These programs are designed to promote a survival period in excess of 72 hours.
All participants receive a certificate upon completion of training

Time: 9-6pm
Cost: SPECIAL!!! $115+GST per person (reg. $150)
