The Atom A Millers captured the Eastman Minor Hockey league banner.

The Millers went through the regular season undefeated but ran into a tough Niverville team in the finals.

This was a rematch from last season which saw Niverville skate away with the championship. It's something that many of the kids from the Millers didn't forget.

After Niverville jumped out to a 1-0 series lead, the Millers were able to even things up at 1-1 after winning on Sunday afternoon. 

In game 3, the Millers grabbed a 2-0 lead before Niverville cut it in half, 2-1.

With the score 3-1 Steinbach in the third, there was a 5 on 3 for Niverville who kept pushing to find the back of the net until Jager Bueckert stripped the puck in the offensive zone and scored short handed to make it a 4-1 hockey game.
