The Winnipeg Jets scored three second period goals en route to a 4-1 victory over the Arizona Coyotes Tuesday night at Bell MTS Place.

Joel Armia, Bryan Little and Adam Lowry scored in the middle frame for the Jets.

Andrew Copp opened the scoring for Winnipeg as he beat Arizona netminder Antti Raanta with 4:30 remaining in the first period.

Alex Goligoski had the lone goal for the Coyotes who have lost five games in a row and have yet to win in regulation this season.

"They're a good team over there," said Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck who made 33 saves. "Their record doesn't show it but they do have a lot of talent over there and they will be good in the future."

Winnipeg forward Patrik Laine extended his points streak to six games.

The Jets, who host the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday, inducted Dale Hawerchuk into the team's Hall of Fame.

The former Winnipeg captain and first overall NHL draft pick joins 2016 inductees Bobby Hull, Ulf Nilsson and Anders Hedberg.
